Diagrams for the sketches

My drawing process normally follows this steps:

  1. I use ovals to mark out the big shapes. This helps me figure out the composition and make sure the proportions are right.
  2. I make lines to  mark out where some of the details will be placed. In this examples, I did it to place the eyes, legs, beaks, etc.
  3. I finally start making the final shapes

Paper

Saunders Waterford Watercolour Paper. Rough 100% cotton

 

Brushes

  • Round number 6
  • Round number 2
  • Flat number 4


Pencil

Any pencil with a hard lead would do, I used one 3HB


Paints

  • Cadmium Orange
  • Transparent Orange
  • Winsor Blue
  • Burnt umber
  • Borwn van Dyke
  • Payne's Gray

Mixes
