Diagrams for the sketches
My drawing process normally follows this steps:
- I use ovals to mark out the big shapes. This helps me figure out the composition and make sure the proportions are right.
- I make lines to mark out where some of the details will be placed. In this examples, I did it to place the eyes, legs, beaks, etc.
- I finally start making the final shapes

Paper
Saunders Waterford Watercolour Paper. Rough 100% cotton
Brushes
- Round number 6
- Round number 2
- Flat number 4
Pencil
Any pencil with a hard lead would do, I used one 3HB
Paints
- Cadmium Orange
- Transparent Orange
- Winsor Blue
- Burnt umber
- Borwn van Dyke
- Payne's Gray
